Introduction

While most Christians do not celebrate or observe the “Jewish” Biblical Feasts I thought it very appropriate to commence a discussion, now that Passover is rapidly approaching. I referred to the observances as “Jewish” above because from a Christian perspective that’s what they are. I am speaking generally of course because there are many believers in Jesus who do give time and commitment to them.

Our discussion over the next several months, and perhaps a continuation later in the year as we approach the Fall Feasts, are going to be in the form of a blog series. I call it a discussion because it would be great to get feedback and comments for those who wish to embrace the subject – and I promise you will get more out of it and maybe have some fun!

The plan is to make the blogs small snippets of information so that there are only a few minutes of reading and reflection. I will do my best to broadcast weekly on the same day once I start. This blog is just to give everyone a heads-up and make sure you are receiving them into your inbox. As mentioned in my initial message I am making improvements to my web site and blog functionality and I appreciate your support in this. Please therefore comment on the blog. All I need is a “Got It” if you have no comments or questions.

To whet your appetite below is a list of the seven Biblical Feasts instituted by the Lord in the Torah.
